This is the page discussing our old Pizzeria! Said pizzeria had three separate openings (and subsequent closures). None of the three iterations lasted very long, but they are an integral part of ABI History.

Basic History:

For your viewing convenience, we have broken down the three separate eras in more detail on their own pages (as well as having an additional page where you can find all the pictures that will be used on said three pages). However, the main goal of the pizzeria, at least back in 1985, was to compete with Chuck E. Cheese's and Showbiz. After shutting down not even a year after launch, this first iteration was deemed a failure. The second attempt occurred in 1996, this time with the added focus of promoting various ABI games and other assets. This one lasted even less time. Iteration three, the most current one, lasted the longest, before unforseen circumstances made it shut down. Nowadays, we have no plans to make a new pizzeria whatsoever. Below are the links to various pages. You are welcome to look at any of the pages out of order, or you can look at the pages based on the order in which the three different iterations of the pizzeria existed.

It took over two decades for us to reopen the restaurant, but apparently Mr. Error had never given up on the pizzeria. In 2020, he had us start cleaning up the pizzeria, hoping to try and avoid as much remodeling as possible. However, this proved nearly impossible, as the pizzeria was in rough shape after being exposed to the elements for so long. Plus, it was a thirty-five year old building. It became clear rahter quickly that the entire place would have to be shut down and rebuilt. During that time, a lot of animatronics had also gone missing, so we had to find those. This was a good opportunity for some new animatronics, however. We also decided to completely remake the animatronics. While the process was a bit hard at times, in the end, we are satisfied with all of the finished designs. Here are some highlight prototypes:

Again, feel free to tell us the names you would give to some of these prototypes. We didn't get pictures of all of the new animatronics, but below are a good selection of what the finalized animatronics look like:

From left to right, the animatronics are (in order): Owen the Orca, Don the Dolphin, Olive the Owl, Ellie the Babysitting Eagle, Glowy the Glowfish, Frank the Fearful Fox, Derrick the Dragon, Betty the Bat, and Warren the Wolf. Unfortunately, there are no creator thoughts this time around. In 2021, we opened the newly-rebuilt pizzeria.

We had no plans to open any chain restaurants even if this restaurant proved successful, since we had opened during the middle of a pandemic. The pizzeria was moderately successful, but then in May of 2022, it was burned down. This wasn't too big of a loss. By this time, Mr. Error had been arrested, and interest in the pizzeria had died down. As of now, we have no plans to reopen the pizzeria. You can find out more about this pizzeria on our admina YouTube channel.
